Your gums and teeth will be sensitive to cold and heat for the first 24-48 hours after treatment. Refrain from touching the affected area in the gums while brushing your teeth.
Avoid Coffee or Tea
To maximize the whitening results of the bleaching solution, please avoid eating foods and drinking beverages that stain your teeth such as coffee, tea, red sauce, etc. for the next 24-48 hours.
Smoking should also be stopped for the next 24-48 hours after procedure. This is always being strongly advised by dentists.
Regular Brushing and Flossing
While there is pain, it is still instructed that you brush your teeth regularly twice a day using white toothpaste and flossing daily, especially after food. These two should always be part of your basic oral care.
